This tape is infused with the latest and greatest glass bead reflective pigment (over 98% spherical!), meaning unlike a regular mirror or shiny surface, it reflects light back where it came from, instead of the negative of the angle of incidence. In fewer words, no matter what angle the tape OR the light source is, it will appear bright and visible!
This technology mimics the reflective traits of animals' eyes, being that a perfect sphere with lightly reflective surface will bounce light back the same way it came. If you've ever seen animal eyes in headlights (or red eyes in flash photography), that is exactly how this works, but with thousands of tiny, super-accurate glass spheres.
This tape is 1" wide, and has a permanent heat-sensitive adhesive backing, making it easy to iron-on and make any clothing many times safer for night travel! A must-have for anyone interested in night-time safety, and extremely easy to use. Simply clean and iron the wrinkles out of your garment or other item, find the clear protective liner on the tape and make sure it is face UP, towards the iron, then iron on with medium heat (250-300°F), let cool, and remove the liner.
