  • Condition: Accordion shows some age and use. I think it sounds great but it may need some service to please some players. I think this may be a very special instrument. I think it is a button box that is tuned to the eastern european tuning but honestly I do not know enough about them to say. When I got it there was a slip that said the tuning was DGCF and that might be right. Please ask any questions you may have and I will do my best to answer. The compression is only fair in a hang test not as good as I would expect a piano accordion to be. It is playable but I think it will need work to be perfect This is a Eastern Europe made instrument Best Guess. Sold as is ! No returns ! if you want me to test it tell me how you want me to test it. Many of the treble buttons are blocked off on each end of the keyboard on at least the 2 inside keyboards you can see that was the intention of the builder or modifier at least when you look at the reeds on the inside. I know accordions but not these.

    KARPEK  4 ROW ACCORDION BUTTON BOX  DGCF   IREALLY AM NOT SURE EXACTLY  WHAT THIS ONE IS OR IS NOT.  MAKE ME AND OFFER IF YOU CAN USE IT...
    Please view the photos carefully as they are part of the description, what you see in photos is the item you will receive.   If you have any questions or need some added info or another photo or 2 feel free to ask. This will make a very fine display item  and it sounds Wonderful as well  although it may very well need repairs or service I do not know enough about how this is suppose to sound or work to tell you its exact condition to say this is a rare bird is and understatement.  I think this may have been made in a Slovic Eastern European country or Germany or perhaps it was actually made in Milwaukee as it says on the accordion.  Please feel free to tell me if you know... The case is a Hohner and it looks like it could actually be a Hohner.  Their is somebodys name on the white cover the letters have been removed but you can still see where they where. Possibly Non original  case included with some cool Karpek straps as well.   I do my best to pack em up good to make a long trip.
    The accordion has been recently tested, it does work in and out  and sounds almost ever note that it is suppose to sound as I said many notes are intentionally blocked.    please see description for all the details.   I have played this and I think it sounds great  it may not be just perfect but I think for some casual players it will be ready to go
    .  Bellows are only fair with less than fair compression. I was not able to follow the same tests I use for a diatonic button box so I am unsure if the keys I stated are correct or not it is my best guess tell me if you want me to test  and how you want me to test .

    This may very likely be a one of a kind super Rare accordion so for this reason alone I will not be accepting returns.  I do not want someone to return it with parts missing Yes that has happened way to many times.
