professional accordion double chamber (cassotto)

Accordion: Castiglione with double tone chamber; starting bid = 50.00
This was Castiglione’s top of the line accordion in the 1960’s.

Keyboard: low F to high A, 19 1/8 inches, fast and responsive 41 treble keys; concert tuned;
Four sets of treble reeds (clarinet and bassoon in the chamber); 11 treble registers;
Five sets of bass reeds; 120 bass buttons (Stradella system); 7 bass registers;
No rust and no tobacco or other obnoxious odors. Tight bellows (good compression).
This accordion has a responsive and powerful sound, but can also play quietly through all tones.
Original case in good condition.
I use cardboard strips and painter's tape to ensure that the bass buttons do not collapse en mass into the bass chamber (as can sometimes happen if the box is dropped).
I pack well, inside the accordion case and between the accordion case and the outer cardboard shipping box. I cut a hole in the top of the box to allow the handle of the case to be available to shippers (less likely to drop it if carried by the handle). I cannot allow returns as I have no guarantee that it will be packed as securely as for the original shipment.
